We believe stories can plant a glimmer of hope in the lives of children who need it most. Some of our books are made for small foundations, led by courageous people — and travel with them into schools, villages and homes around the world.

The Bookery

We create dynamic school libraries that inspire a love of reading, break barriers and change lives.

Together with The Bookery and Oppenheimer Generations, we translated Ayobami and the Names of the Animals into Xhosa and Afrikaans and printed a free edition for school libraries across South Africa.

Maktabat al-Fanoos

The Lantern Library — bringing books, in Arabic, to every child.

The Lonely Mailman was selected and translated into Arabic for the al-Fanoos book-gifting program — a partnership of the Israeli Ministry of Education and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation — reaching Arabic-speaking children in public schools, each of whom takes a copy home to keep.
