Born in Cáceres in 1984, she grew up surrounded by pencils and stacks of children's books.
She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, where she discovered illustration as her vocation. She enjoys telling stories through images, getting lost in nature, and traveling both near and far.
Since 2008, she has worked as an illustrator, primarily in the publishing field, collaborating with publishers such as Nórdica Libros, Kalandraka, Edelvives, Anaya, SM, Lóguez, and Thule Ediciones, among others. She combines this work with exhibitions both in Spain and abroad.
She currently lives in Asturias, drawing wildlife, forests, and other real or imagined places. Her work has been selected for exhibitions such as the 30th edition of the Mostra Internazionale d’Illustrazione di Sàrmede (Italy), the 4th and 8th editions of the Ibero-American Illustration Catalogue (Mexico), the 2018 Ilustrarte Biennial (Portugal), and The Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition at the Shanghai Children's Book Fair (China). She has also received awards at competitions such as the Sharjah Exhibition for Children's Book Illustrations (United Arab Emirates), the Encontro Internacional de Ilustracao de S. Joao de Madeira (Portugal), and the Ilustrofest Festival (Serbia).
Her work has also received recognition from OEPLI (Spain), Banco del Libro (Venezuela), the Ministry of Culture's Award for Best Edited Books (Spain), the Junceda Award in the International category (Spain), and the award given by the Cuatrogatos Foundation (Miami).
