Dani Padrón

Award-winning illustrator Dani Padrón was born in Ourense, Spain, and is an architect by training. He began his career as an illustrator in 2011, after winning the Pura and Dora Vézquez Prize for the illustrations in his first book. Since then, he has created several picture books. In 2016, he received first prize at the International Latino Book Awards for the book *La llavecita dorada* (The Little Golden Key), published by Cuento de Luz.
