Susanna Isern

Susanna Isern (La Seu d’Urgell, 1978) grew up surrounded by the Pyrenees Mountains. She combines her passion for writing with her work in Psychology. She directs the Psychology Department at Aula Dédalo in Santander and is a professor of Learning Psychology at the European University of the Atlantic. Since publishing her first picture book in 2011, she has published more than 30 children's books. Most of her works are sold internationally and can be found in Braille and more than a dozen languages. Among her most notable picture books are *What Are You Afraid Of, Little Mouse?*, which won a Silver Medal at the 2015 Moonbeam Children's Book Awards in the USA, and *The Magic Ball of Yarn*, which also won a Silver Medal at the 2013 Moonbeam Children's Book Awards.
