The Night of the Noises / The Noises of the Night

Luke is a very brave little boy, but when night falls he hides under his sheets, absolutely terrified. When he lies in his bed, in the middle of the darkness, terrifying creatures visit him, such as Blubberhead the monster, Verruca the witch or Clankenstein, the evil monster made of tin and wires who wanders all around the house. Luke pulls his sheets up higher and higher, trying to scare them away – and the worst thing is the night has only just begun! Each sound he hears become a fearsome monster in his mind, although… what are those sounds? Where do they really come from?

The Night of Noises teaches us that not all of the products of our imagination correspond to reality. To overcome our most fearsome fears, we must look them in the eye and face them.
